Call me Ryan. Some years ago - never mind how long precisely - having no concern for money, and no particular social status to interest me, I thought I would surf about a little and see the digital part of the world.
It is a way I have of playing video games. Whenever I find myself growing grim about the mouth; whenever it is a cold, snowy December in my soul; whenever I find myself involuntarily spacing out at the state of the world, the perpetual cycle of needless dribbling from the media pundits, which requires a strong moral compass from myself to prevent me from stepping into forums and deliberately trolling people's posts - then, I account it high time to get to gaming as soon as possible.
This is my substitute for socializing and nights out. With a philosophical flourish Cato throws himself upon his sword; I quietly take to gaming. There is nothing surprising about this... Even though they don't know it, all men in their degree, some time or other, cherish very nearly the same feelings towards gaming as me.
