❓❓❓ FAQ ❓❓❓
What is the game about?
Dr. T, PhD is a 4-player, 2D, couch co-op, tower defense and platformer hybrid. You can play with friends locally or online. You have to defeat multiple waves of enemies using your sword and towers that you can build on tower platforms.
What software do you use?
We are using Unity for our game engine. Most of the artwork seen in game is made using Adobe products. We use Photoshop for character and level design, Illustrator for UI/Logos, and After Effects for some of our animations. We will also likely be using Spine for some animations.
Where will the game be released?
Right now we are only targeting PCs, so the game will likely be launched on Steam at some point. We would love to bring Dr. T to consoles as well at some point (especially the Nintendo Switch!) but we won't be looking into consoles until the game is released on PC.
When will the game be released?
Whenever it's done. We hope to release a free alpha version featuring local multiplayer, a few levels, and a few swords/towers relatively soon.
What's up with your username?
No clue. It was a username I came up with a long time ago, it has sort of a nice ring to it and it's never already taken.
What's up with your logo?
No clue. It's supposed to be an alien-elf hybrid type creature I created in Illustrator (I suck at character design by the way, don't worry, Brandon does the character design for Dr. T). It seemed like a creature that would have a name like "Kabeeblorb" so I went with that.
Does Brian or Brandon have a livestream?
Do you have a Discord for the company/game?
Yes, but it's currently not open to the public. We will be working on setting that up soon though if there's an interest in it.
