"There are three things all wise men fear: the sea in storm, a night with no moon, and the anger of a gentle man" -Patrick Rothfuss
As a veteran of the first-person shooter genre of 15 years, this statement rings true on many levels. The anger of a gentle man can be interpreted in many ways. Some may say it is the ego that drives man to anger. Others say it is the nature of man that we are naturally angry. As for me, my story stems from a life of letting the world control my thoughts of what life should be. I was a scapegoat to everyone elses failures, and I let that influence my mind into a very dark place.... But within the darkness is light.
After alot of reflection, I learned that this rage can be turned into passion, and emotional response turned to logical. I have taken what used to be my biggest weakness and made it my greatest ally in battle.
My battles are far from over, and I can't do this alone. To win these battles, we have to work together and build each other up, rather than tear down and divide. If you want to stand up for what is right and for those who deserve the chance for greatness, then give the channel a follow and lets take it to them!
